Another great read from a terrific author who weaves a gripping tale of a notorious Wild West superhero who eventually discovers his real self after unintentionally falling in love with a woman he had bought! She emerges as a strong personality as he awkwardly learns to talk and listen to her. This is a gripping tale (downloaded the book this morning and just finished it at 2pm!). McGowan's characters come to life as the book unfolds. The supporting characters are well crafted as well. If you like Westerns and/or romance novels, you will find the best of both in this book!Product details

Third book in the River Series. Tells the story of Will January, son of Tom Doubletree.
This book it describes Texas in the early years and the continuous battles to survive. I read While the Rivers Run many years ago and the sequel Beyond the River and was very excited to find it. I actually have the paperbacks of the previous two books and reread them to follow up with the new book.
