This was a hilariously funny book about the antics of a 3 year old. My kids laughed so hard. Even I had a hard time reading the book to my kids because I was laughing so hard. The mental pictures that were painted were very funny and leaves an imprint on the mind. Even though there weren't any pictures, my 6 and 7 year olds understood what i fpund so funny. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a laugh, but also to those who want their child to start enjoying books without pictures.Product details

This is perfect to get my son into books without pictures and showing him not only that you don't lose the fun but in fact you can get even more -) I can also see him reading this to himself when he's able and can't wait to hear him giggle as he does -)
I started reading this to my two eldest (5 and 4) at the weekend and they were literally falling over with laughter. It's all they have wanted for bedtime since and are talking about it all the time! It is the first book I've read them with no pictures and I'm thrilled with how much they are enjoying it. Some bits go a bit over their heads, which probably means it still works well for older ones too. They have even been asking if they can watch it on TV!! I've been looking forward to reading it too so it is being enjoyed by us all!
As per my son's direction (he's helping me with this review) the AWESOME comes all in upper case so you will understand just how GREAT these stories are. With a cast that's lovable, it's a pleasure to share their daily living adventures, which made our whole family laugh out loud.
Absolutely hilarious family reading - ideal to sit and read a chapter each night. I'm not sure whether my 5 and 7 year olds laugh the hardest or if it's my husband and I. We love Cheeky Charlie (but are very glad he's not part of our household!). Harry is a super funny narrator - highly recommend.
This book is a set of short stories told through the eyes of an eight-year-old girl, named Harry. Her center of focus her nearly three-year-old brother, Charlie. These characters are laugh out loud funny as you get to know how little Charlie and Harry think. Just as described in the book blurb, this book is perfect for bedtime reading and is a good start for children beginning chapter books.
Don't think kindle unlimited, got on free day and anything else direct from author possibly as did get the #2 that way, just out now.. These books are cute without being cutesy, childlike without being childish, and that's a great thing, as will be letting my grandchildren read these on my tablet. Not that my grandkids are like this {and one is a girly girl} but my grandson no not really; my youngest son years ago, yeah probably.
What do you do with a little kid brother who is stinky and aggravating and in to everything? I think it's called damage control for the most part. There is always something else, something more, and that's why there's more than one book. This one was as good a read as the other one and yes my grandkids get to read this one too.

Cheeky Charlie Bugs and Bananas is a funny collection of stories about Charlie told by his older sister Harry. The stories are easy for families to relate to and fun for all ages, although there is a little kid style potty humor. I read it to my 4 and 7 year old, and we all enjoyed it.
